Salvation Army's Day of Giving in Central Texas

It’s Christmas in July and the Salvation Army is asking all Central Texans to do the most good on July 8th and help your neighbors who need a dry place to stay and a warm meal to eat.
On that day on every media outlet in Austin and beyond will join together in one voice to support the Salvation Army and the people in our communities that need it the most.
A donation of just $40 gets someone a bed for a night and $280 gets someone that bed for a WHOLE WEEK!
Our goal is that on July 8th we can provide over 12,000 nights of safe sleep and warm meals to Central Texan Men, Women and Children in need.
In order to do that as a community we need to raise $500,000.
