About Rick Epstein:

Rick proudly describes himself as a pre-Mopac Austinite as he grew up in Austin since moving here from Manchester, N.H. in 1975. After high school and then U.T. he spent 11 years in the telecommunications industry before transitioning to the sports marketing arena where he has spent the last 17 years. With stops at Spurs Sports and Entertainment, the Austin Wranglers (Arena Football), and IMG Epstein has held various positions including Director of Ticket sales, Vice President of Sales and Director of Sales. In 2015 Epstein left IMG and the Dave Campbell’s Texas football media brand to pursue a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship where he created the IHSFAN media brand. IHSFAN magazine is the Austin areas premier high school football preview magazine and is now in its 3rd year. Rick is proud to partner with 104.9 The Horn to present a weekly radio show called Under the Lights. Rick and co-host Jeff Power will shine the spotlight on Austin area high school football each Wednesday night from 7:00-8:00 during football season.

Rick is married to Raquel (Rocky) and their son Zach is a Junior at the University of Texas.

Power has spent 20 of his 26 year career in Austin working at KEYE, News 8 Austin and now owns Jeff Power TV Productions, where he covers high school and college athletics. Born in San Antonio, the University of Houston graduate has covered sports at all levels in Texas including the pro ranks in Houston and DFW markets.
