WATCH: Tony Romo Admits Dak Prescott Has Earned Right To Be Quarterback

In an emotional press conference on Tuesday afternoon for Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, the 36 year old veteran admitted Dak Prescott earned the right to be starting quarterback for the Cowboys.

Tony Romo missed 12 games in 2015 due to injury and suffered a compression fracture to a vertebra in his back during this years preseason, allowing Dak Prescott to earn the starting job.

Dak Prescott was drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and since taking over as starter, Prescott has led the Cowboys to an 8-1 record, which is best in the NFL. The Rookie out of Mississippi State has led all other rookies in passing yards, passer rating, and a 7:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
