The Zero Nine Hundred Show

 

J. Craig Flowers is a native Texan originally from San Antonio with deep roots in Fredericksburg and Johnson City. He hosts “The Zero Nine Hundred Show”, airing Saturday’s, 9-10 am.

While in the armed forces, he remained active in local and national radio sharing stories and experiences while promoting major entertainment events at “America’s Theatre”, Eisenhower Hall, West Point, NY. His position at West Point allowed him access to many entertainers including, The Dave Mathews Band, Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Jim Gaffigan, Jerry Seinfeld and others.

While at West Point he also served as Assistant Baseball Coach for the 2005 record setting Army Baseball Team who finished 39-14 including a four-game sweep of Navy and Army’s first win in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. He taught several courses at West Point including the Capstone Course for seniors embarking on an Army career and lifetime service to the nation.

After a year at Ranger Jr. College, Craig graduated from Texas Christian University earning a degree in Economics while playing baseball for the Horned Frogs. He holds an M.A. from Kansas University.
He served 25 years on active duty including three years in North Africa. He enjoys emceeing local events, auctioneering, golf, fishing, and hunting.

Since returning to Texas in 2012, Craig is sometimes heard on The Horn as a guest co-host for the “B&E Show”; Austin’s most listened to sports talk show and ‘show of the people’.

Craig and his wife Beth of Bartlesville, OK have three daughters.
