Texas Stars Advance in the Western Conference Finals

Texas took out the Ontario Reign in four games and the Tuscon Roadrunners in five games. This is Texas’ first trip back to the WCF since winning the 2014 Calder Cup. The Rockford swept the Chicago Wolves and the Manitoba Moose to reach its first conference final since joining the AHL in 2007.

This will be the third playoff meeting between the IceHogs and the Stars, each going in 1-1. Texas swept Rockford in 2010, and the IceHogs swept the Stars in 2015.
