No LaMarcus Aldridge In Spurs Loss To Utah 101-99

The third stop on the Rodeo Road Trip saw the San Antonio Spurs (35-23) drop a close one against the Utah Jazz, (29-28 ) 101-99, with the win extending Utah’s winning streak to 10 games. The Jazz had steady production from their starters with four in double digits, and Donovan Mitchell leading the way with 25 points.

The Jazz outscored the Spurs by ten in the fourth quarter, leading to a Utah comeback. San Antonio struggled from the three-point line shooting 6-25 on the night. Kyle Anderson led the Spurs with 16 points.

The Spurs had a chance to tie, or even take the lead on the final possession of the game, but Kyle Anderson lost the ball going up for a shot. In addition, a last-second effort by Manu Ginobili failed to go in and resulted in the fourth loss in five games for San Antonio.

The Spurs injury problems continued to plague the team tonight as they took to the arena short their leading scorer, LaMarcus Aldridge (22.4 points per game) who sat out with a knee injury.
