The San Antonio Spurs opened their 2016 season with a 129-100 road victory over the Golden State Warriors last night led by a career high 35 points from Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs led early and often, ending the first half with a 64-46 lead. Former Longhorn and 2013-2014 MVP, Kevin Durant, joined an already talented Golden State Warriors squad that reached the NBA finals last year, expectations were high coming into the season for the Warriors that went 73-9 last season.
