Texas Longhorns running back D’onta Foreman is one of the best players in college football. But you already knew that.

The junior product out of Texas City, Texas, has been unstoppable all season. Foreman is averaging over 6.7 yards per attempt and ran for a career best 341 yards against Tech, which was nine short of the school record for yards in a game. Foreman’s 1,613 yards ranks second nationally, and tied ninth in the nation with 13 touchdowns and is one of the reasons Foreman is on so many award lists.

Foreman even leads the nation in yards with only one shoe.

Foreman is currently a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award, which is given to the nations top running back, and the Walter Camp Award, given to the nations best overall player. Only two longhorns have won the Walter Camp award, Ricky Williams won it in 1998 and Colt McCoy did it twice in 2008 and 2009. Foreman has even gained Heisman hype, leading to a #HEISforeMAN hashtag campaign on social media.
