Boston Globe – Patriots get to kick (tomato) can known as Houston Texans

Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy wrote a piece previewing this weekend’s Divisional Round matchup between the New England Patriots and Houston Texans. It’s safe to say Shaughnessy doesn’t see the Texans as much of a threat to come into New England and knock off the AFC’s top seed. Need proof? Here’s how the article starts:

“Been here. Done this.

The Patriots will finally play their first postseason game Saturday night and wouldn’t you guess . . . they are playing a team with absolutely zero chance to win the game.”

Shaughnessy goes on to call the Texans “tomato cans” and “patsies” among other things. The Pats defeated the Texans 27-0 in Week 3 of the regular season.
